About my very first Bead Soup Blog Party

So one of the reasons I changed my website into a blog (for which the idea was already there but I needed a little tap in the back to finally do it) is that I am taking part in the 8th Annual Bead Soup Blog Party.
The idea is that you are paired with another jewelry designer, send each other a 'bead soup', a combination of pretty beads, a focal and a clasp, and you design one or several pieces with the 'soup' you have been sent and this is then revealed on your blog at a certain date (may 3rd in this case)
My partner in beading crimes is Evelyn from Raindrop Creations as I mentioned in my previous blog post.

The soup I sent her is a combination of czech glass so called picasso beads, deep red pearls, coral beads, hand made clasps and jumprings and the focal is a gorgeous agate set in a braided bezel.

I received from her the following ingredients: gold colored heart shaped connectors, gold colored rose spacers, a gold colored branch toggle clasp, a lobster claw heart clasp, round 'cut away' glass beads, raspberry faux pearls, cream flower beads, orange faceted crystals and as focals square vintage style floral beads.

Now to come up with some nice designs using the materials I have been given!
